Detailed records are invaluable sources of information about servicemen and women and the families that have been left behind. A fire at the National Personnel Records Center in St. Louis, Missouri many of the records of World War II veterans are lost.  To order records, use Standard Form 180, pdf Download  Use the same form for all veterans of any Military Service.
